Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model, actress and TV host entrepreneur recording artist has been awarded numerous accolades throughout her career. This includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Additionally, she was recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was a part of a variety of television series including Hiram Kampanerang (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). In Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she played Komiks legendary character Dyesebel. In addition, she hosted the late-night variety show It's Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on 17th February in 1985. She is an Filipina and Australian actress. There were many awards she received throughout her professional career. These include the two FAMAS Awards, a Luna Award, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well as five PMPC Star Awards in the TV category. Her name has been mentioned to win 8 PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards, and for her participation in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis starred as Hiram (2004), Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) as well as Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). She portrayed in 2014 the well-known Komiks role of Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. Other roles include hosting the popular midday show Showtime from 2009 to 2020. Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian lawyer. Curtis was born in Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father was married by Ojales when she was a teenager in the year 1982. Her younger sister Jasmine is also an actor. The father of the couple had a half-sister called Clare and she passed away in 2007 at age only four months from coronary disease.
